Today (31 March 2025), Mr. Yotsawat Thirawat, Director of Conservation Area Management Office 1, revealed that Ms. Wiriya Ochakul, Director of Wildlife Conservation Division (SorBor.1 Prachinburi), was contacted by Mr. Sthaporn Thirawat, Assistant Chief of Khao Yai National Park, who reported that the remains of 1 wild elephant were found behind Wat Ban Dong, Village 1, Sarika Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Nayok District, Nakhon Nayok Province. Therefore, she requested the support of a veterinary team from the Wildlife Conservation Division to examine the remains to find the cause of death urgently.
